The love of my life will call to let me know she's on the way but she knows that I'm always ready to see her. The love of my life just smiles when there's nothing left to say, but she knows that I'm always ready to hear her. And when she comes she knows that I never want to be without her. Don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out the door baby. The love of my life sees through me even when I’m at my best. She knows how to help and to undo me. The love of my life just laughs when I’m puffing out my chest, She knows the slightest touch and she unglues me. And when she comes she knows that I never want to be without her. Don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out the door baby. So what’s it gonna take to make you stay, And all the clocks I’d break just to keep us in this day. Don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out that door, don't go walking out the door baby.

Call me friend, and send your love, But I know what I call you. You don’t need to say it back to me, In a way it kinda reminds me of the good old days. And I can stand by, take it or leave it that’s fine. I just want another night to dream of you love. I see your eyes fixed on the distant shores, I know your love is given away. And I’m not trying to find another But I would never ask you to do the same. And I know that I don’t have the keys to your heart I just want another night to dream of you love. Please don’t mind that I keep you tucked you close in my heart, It’s better than the emptiness that waits there without you I just want another night… I just want another night… I just want another night to dream of you love.

Then What 04:07
Now you’re gonna smile real big Gonna tell yourself a lie. If you had nothing to lose why did you cry? I wanna call you out wanna give your pretty face a smack, But I won’t go saying something that I can’t take back. You wanna make it better, wanna make the pain dissolve. A drink to get it wetter, a drink to strengthen your resolve. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another woman. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another man. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another lover. And you’ll find them, then what? So call your stupid friends up disregard the ways that you have grown. God forbid you cope with something on your own. Got your hurting pride now your gonna fill that empty hole, But don’t you turn that pain around on your fragile soul. You’re feeling kind of frantic, seem to think you need to act. You just don’t seem to get it, you’re headed straight into a trap. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another woman. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another man. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another lover. And you’ll find them, then what? When you wake tomorrow, will the pain magically be gone? Can you even answer why you wanna take some sucker home? No? Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another woman. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another man. Then you’re gonna run downtown gonna look for another lover. And you’ll find them, then what?

I knew you would love him by the way you said his name. I could see you moving and I was the old game. Ain’t nothing wrong with being forgotten, ain’t nothing wrong with getting set aside. Ain’t nothing wrong with hurting solo Ain’t nothing wrong with broken foolish pride. And I’m trying to get over you. I guess I was holding Out more than I said. Hoping that it would reignite Hoping that our love wasn’t really dead. Time to force a faceless lover in my mind Time to let go, time to move on, time to leave the past behind. But I don’t want to leave you. And I’m trying to get over you, Yea, I’m trying to get over you. And it it’s not going well. I can’t stop myself from thinking of you. So I search for some peace of mind But it only brings me back to you each and every time. And I’m trying to get over you, Yea, I’m trying to get over you.

Time's moving on The twists and the turns All the bites and the burns led us here. And what is now gone When we're living in darkness, We're living in fear? That's not the way that it's supposed to be, No. So change your love again And make it the one that you're in. Cause the past although great now is gone, Relationships bend in the wind. Sometimes Lovers, sometimes just friends Sometimes Lovers, sometimes friends. So carry on Being with you is like feasting on goodness. You bring the warmth to my bones. Weiss can't express what you mean to me, And it's not the same as it used to be, no. So change your love again And make it the one that you're in. Cause the past although great now is gone, Relationships bend in the wind. Sometimes Lovers, sometimes just friends Sometimes Lovers, sometimes friends.

And I’ve made up my mind That I’m not moving on from here, I’d rather wait a thousand years, Than let you go with style. As desperate as it seems, Its just an actuality There’s nothing in this world for me That tops a day with you. And I’m not moving from here, No, I’m not gonna budge. I’m not moving from here, No, I’m not gonna budge. You cannot betray A love that still yet tucked away, So go on out enjoy your date, I hope he treats you right. And I’m not gonna lie, I don’t have an aliby, I’ve come to say I’ll make you mine No matter what it takes. And I’m not moving from here, No, I’m not gonna budge. I’m not moving from here, No, I’m not gonna budge. So don’t you worry ‘bout The recourse of your constant denial, And I don’t need your empathy, no Cause I’m not moving from here No, I’m not gonna budge. I’m not moving from here, No, I’m not gonna budge.

You’ve got grace and you’ve got style, You leave me at the door Make me feel I made this mess here on my own. You say you haven’t changed, And I believe that now, Now that I wish I saw it all along. Class and charm just make it all right, You’ve been nice on the side, I can’t see the answers, But did I try? You didn’t try! There were times that we could see On the other side, Making it up as if we meant it all along. But there were times that We just couldn’t see We had been blinded by the fog. Class and charm just make it all right, You’ve been nice on the side, And I know the time has come for us to decide. I know! Paid the price Now nothing’s left to sacrifice, What’s now due If we want to make it something new. Class and charm just make it all right, You’ve been nice on the side, And I know the time has come for us, Yea, I know the time has come for us, Yea, I know the time has come for us to decide I know!

Carry up some groceries for a friend Do a double take when she let’s me in. I didn’t know I’d meet you there. Chatting carries on but I can’t check in, Living in your eyes and your wiley grin, Trying my best just not to stare. And you, so cute, so alive, so in tune, And I am blind to everything but you. And now it’s out and I know what I gotta do, what I gotta do. I like your attitude and I like your style, Like the way you talk and the way you smile. Every little thing about you that I learn I like you better, better. Ain’t no way to know if you feel the same, I don’t even know if you know my name, But I got a question for you either way, Are you free some time? Talk about you riding on your bike, Talk about the day you dressed in white, I bet you were a sight to see. My buddy said you got caught in the rain, Said you laughed it off like it was a game, I just know you’re meant for me. Wo-oh Wo-oh, are you free some time? Wo-oh, wo-oh, wo-oh And I knew I blew it when you came walking by again, And I couldn’t say a word. So I’m singing out this song hoping that you come walking along So I’ll get another turn. Wo-oh, wo-oh, are you free sometime

Dreaming 05:22
Let me love on you until you fall asleep There ain’t nothing that you want that baby, I can’t be. Save the sexy stuff for times when we’re awake. Cause I can love on you now when there’s nothing here at stake. Nobody’s gonna hold it against you for dreaming. Our warmth here, we know that it won’t last. When tomorrow comes it will be lost in the past. So let’s keep our voices low, let’s keep our bodies close. Sometimes company is what you need the most. Nobody’s gonna hold it against you for dreaming.

Here I Come 04:03
I’m here now too early it seems But I feel like I’m right on time Enough moments to clear my head But I feel as though I don’t really need it clear at all I just want to see you I just want to feel the warmth of your smile Fill me up again. So on time or not, I don’t know, But here I come. The tree under which we made love is gone Only stark brick stares me in the face. We might just find a new one, or maybe something else But there’s no sense pretending the one once there remains. I just want to see you I just want to feel the warmth of your smile Fill me up again. And I’ll stop at nothing and I hope you’ll do the same And I’ll stop at nothing and I beg you’ll do the same. I just want to see you I just want to feel the warmth of your smile Fill me up again. I just want to see you I just want to feel the warmth of your smile Fill me up again. So on time or not I don’t know, But here I come, Oh, here I come.
11.
And I'm not out to go wasting any of your time. I'm not out to go speakin' anything but my own mind. But I came to let you know that I could not let you go cause I still love you. Oh, I still love you. If you're alone just let me know. And I still can't believe that I'm not over you after all these years and another love or two. So I guess I'll have to wait and hurt about the days when we were loving, when we were loving, It was more than a loving it. If you're alone just let me know. How's it gonna go? If you're alone just let me know.

about

Getting Over You takes you on a musical journey through love, life, and, inevitably, heartbreak.

Passing Worth is an alternative jazz soul pop band out of Columbia, South Carolina. The group blends together carefully crafted melodies with various styles representative of each member that makes for a very distinguishable and unique sound. The vibe of Passing Worth is comparable to that of Fleetwood Mac due to their collective old souls and timeless compositions that are guaranteed to make you fall in love, dance, cry, and fall back in love all over again.

The band was formed in the spring of 2014 by pianist/lead vocalist Alex Davis. Although recently formed and relatively young, one would think that this band has been together for years due to their dynamic chemistry and mature songs of love, life, and relationships. With Alex Davis on keys and vocals, Moses Andrews on bass and vocals, Alex Skiro on lead guitar, Cassy Renee on vocals, and Patrick Chapman on drums the band is definitely a winning combination.
